Important criteria of our organic honey

De Traay organic honey meets the following criteria:

• Our bees collect their nectar freely in the unspoilt nature. We use no pesticides and our premises are minimally 7 km from industry or traffic;
• Bee populations are treated only for the prevention of diseases. Bee diseases are fought using only natural methods, for instance essential oils;
• The bees hibernate feeding off of their own honey;
• he beehives are made of natural materials and the cells are made only from beeswax.
